Simga is a small Nagar Panchayat town in Raipur District of Chhattisgarh state. It is headquarter town of Simga Tehsil, which is one of the 15 tehsils of Raipur District. It is located just 44 kms away from capital city of Raipur. With all its administrative and strategic importance, Simga town is obviously considered to be one of the prominent and upcoming towns of Chhattisgarh state.

Economy of Simga

Owing to dismal presence of industries and other competitive sectors, Simga’s people continue to be reliant on agricultural activities for earning their livelihood. Overall, Simga’s healthcare services can be termed as decent. At least for small town like this, the available infrastructure is pretty much decent enough.

Transportation in Simga

Just like most small towns in rest of India, even Simga town does not have a very robust public transportation. All that it got in public transportation is just about respectable number of auto rickshaws. There is obviously no city bus or private taxis available in this immensely small town.
